Our Story
Mirror Mirror Salon is the result of many years spent training and studying not only hair, but also the hair business. Locally owned and operated by Salem residents Carolina and husband Curtis, Mirror Mirror was designed around small town Southwest Virginia values. Carolina has continued stylist training throughout her professional career, which began in 2015 after graduating with her license from the Virginia Board of Cosmetology. Class of 2012 Salem High School graduate, Curtis, continued his education in engineering as well as business which earned him his ongoing career as a field engineer with a local healthcare equipment service provider. In early 2019, less than 9 months after being married, the desire to offer an honest and professional environment, both for clients and stylists, prompted the married couple to open their very own salon. Mirror Mirror Salon was built through hard work, determination, the American dream, and ultimately by the grace of God. These values and skills are transferred through the hands of Carolina and all of the wonderful stylists who call Mirror Mirror home, offering each and every client a truly amazing result, guaranteed.
